Account Manager / Assistant Office Manager                                                March 2006 – Current

Only accountant in research department with research funds over $10 million.  In addition I have met or exceeded our department’s goals which include:

·      Created and maintained department ad-hoc accounting system, that runs along parent SAP system

·      Distributed and created account reports for principal investigators on research grants

·      Developed and implemented service centers for department equipment and administrative staff

·      Gained experience and knowledge of both long-term and short-term budget forecasting

·      Successfully provided oversight of principle investigators’ expenses and reporting to ensure reporting compliance with government regulatory standards

·      Attended numerous seminars and business classes on SAP, MS Access, asset depreciation, payroll, and government purchasing

·      Key member in the team that created the accounting standards of our department to ensure regulations were adhered to, as MATC became the conference headquarters for transportation research

Front Line Supervisor – Insurance Department                                         March 2002 – April 2003

Supervisor and Team leader positions that held many key responsibilities for a large company that provided insurance services for many large national banks.

·      Maintained a team of 10-15 people, responsible for training them to the extent that they fully understood homeowner’s insurance and could deal with any questions a borrower might have regarding tracking and escrow of insurance by their lender

·      Gained extensive knowledge of homeowner’s insurance, flood insurance, lender placed policies, and insurance escrow accounts.

·      Worked extensively with MS Excel to create reports for Zurich, GMAC, Ameriquest, Chase, Wells Fargo and many other national bank executives.
